Alternate Assignment DUE 5/30/08
ALTERNATE ASSIGNMENT: Students must write a 1,000 word essay on the following agriculture topic which will be due on the last day of the quarter. The assignment must be typed, a number 12 font, and double spaced. This assignment is due in place of completing two FFA activities per quarter.


4th Quarter Topic

1. Water – What is its role in agriculture’s future in California?
Please explain in detail the types of hazards we face, what can be done, and the effect it could have on society.

Poker Run/Cruise for Cancer

The cruise will start at Cindys restaurant on the North side of Oakdale leaving there at about 9am cruising South down Geer to Christoffersen Pkwy then go West ending at Pitman High School. If your staying for the car show you’ll turn right on Kilroy and follow the signs to pull in to campus and park. We will start gathering in Oakdale around 7:30am. I will add this information to my web site to make sure everyone knows thanks.
